CardCycle is a value exchange network, not just a listings page
Three groups meet on one network — the people who hold cards, the merchants who issue them, and the partners who want to plug into both. Underneath sits a single stack: one wallet, one trading engine, one payment engine, and one verification and risk layer.

Partner API layer
One connection gives a partner read access to CardCycle pricing and write access to the trading and payment engines. Requests are authenticated with a partner key issued per account; every call is settled and recorded in the same ledger our own marketplace uses.
| Endpoint | Layer | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| GET /v1/pricing/:retailer | Trading | Live discount, lowest ask and available balance per retailer. |
| GET /v1/listings | Trading | Searchable inventory with face value, price and quantity. |
| POST /v1/listings | Trading | Submit partner inventory for pricing and review. |
| POST /v1/quotes/instant-cash | Trading | Offer score and instant-cash amount for a card the partner holds. |
| POST /v1/orders | Payment | Buy a card on behalf of a partner customer, with inventory locked once. |
| GET /v1/settlements | Payment | Fees, processing cost and payable per partner transaction. |
| POST /v1/payouts | Payment | Release standard or instant payouts to a verified bank account. |
| POST /v1/verifications | Verification | Run identity, balance and retailer status checks before a trade. |
Authentication
Per-partner key sent as a bearer token over HTTPS, scoped to pricing, trading or settlement. Keys are rotatable and rate limited per account.
Settlement
Partner-originated trades post buyer fee, seller fee, processing cost and payable to the same double-entry ledger as marketplace orders.
Risk checks
Identity, balance verification and retailer status run before any partner trade is accepted or any payout is released.
Preview access: endpoints are documented and being wired to the live engines. Partner keys are issued by request while we onboard the first integrations.
Card network partner portals
Card networks run their own partner sign-in and developer dashboards. These are the official portals we apply through. CardCycle is seeking these relationships — we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any card network today.
Visa
Visa Partner for program applications, Visa Developer for API keys and sandbox access.
Mastercard
Mastercard Developers for API projects and keys, Engage and Start Path for partnership programs.
American Express
Amex Developer Portal for API access, plus merchant and partnership channels.
What we're building toward
- A real wallet balance. Proceeds, buyer credit and refunds held in one place, spendable on the marketplace or withdrawn to a bank.
- Merchant accounts. Retailers and shops listing their own inventory with bulk upload and their own storefront page.
- A partner API. Pricing, listing and settlement endpoints so other apps can trade on CardCycle.
- Network partnerships. Working toward relationships with the major card networks. These are goals we are pursuing — not current affiliations or endorsements.
